Community providers

Building a foundation
for emotional and
behavioral success.

Professionals who work with young children and their families play a key role in building the foundation for a child’s late success in school, workplace and the larger community.

For Community providers

Organizations like yours play a key role.

During the first few years of life, a child’s brain is working to “wire” connections together within the brain’s architecture. These connections – which are strengthened by positive interactions with responsive, caring adults – form the basis for behavioral, emotional, social and learning capacities. As early care and education providers, administrators, social workers, home visitors or allied health professionals, your work and relationship with the child and family is important in building the foundation for a child’s success in life and stronger family units.

Testimonial

I am excited by the possibilities that Dominican University’s Occupational Therapy program has with its partnership with Help Me Grow Marin. When searching for early childhood settings to collaborate with for occupational therapy students to provide assessment and intervention, Susanne was eager to link me to several providers in Marin and we were able have students work with families virtually this fall and provide assessment and intervention for their children while meeting our outcomes to provide pediatric experiences for Dominican University students.
