WildCare’s education programs support the Next Generation Science Standards and our instructors are glad to incorporate the themes of your class curriculum into our programs whenever possible. Scholarships are available.

Slide Ranch

During Slide Ranch Family Programs, School and Community Programs and Summer Camp, visitors explore our organic gardens and learn about food from farm to fork; discover pastures and animal care by working with goats, sheep, chickens and ducks; study a rich marine ecosystem and tide pool network on our rocky shore; and survey the trails winding through coastal sage scrub that are home to quail, bobcats, deer, and coyotes.

San Francisco Zoo – San Francisco

Outdoor animal viewing areas are open. Takeout food available and outdoor dining areas are open. Playgrounds, rides and most indoor areas are closed. All guests must make an online reservation for a specific date and entrance time and prepay for parking.

Oakland Zoo – Oakland

Outdoor animal viewing areas are open. Food available for purchase and outdoor tables are available. Indoor exhibits and high-touch areas are closed, including rides and playground areas. Reservations required.
